This is a Newburyport must-see. If you're ever within a 50 mile radius, go. The museum is in a historic home, built long ago by one of Newburyport's wealthy ship captains. You can see it by tour only. $8 and you have a personal guide to take you through rooms filled with early American history. Oh the stories! The photos don't do it justice. (They won't let you take full photos of the rooms, only details, thus:)
Go, I tell you, go. There's colorful piece of American history to be heard there!
